How does VAGARO work?
To access our services, you'll need to create a profile. Your profile helps us keep track of your appointments and packages. By creating this profile, you're essentially requesting an appointment. Feel free to use the notes section to provide details about your surgery or any other important information you'd like us to know.
All payments must be made in full upfront. This is because both our time and yours are valuable. When you book your own appointment, you're taking responsibility for arriving 15 minutes early to complete paperwork and prepare for your session. You can find pre-surgery paperwork on our website under "MLD, POSTOP. LIPO, TT, BBL, COSMECTIC SURGERY".
We strictly adhere to our schedule, starting and finishing appointments on time to ensure that each person receives the full time they paid for. Once your appointment is accepted, you'll receive a confirmation email. Thank you for your cooperation.
How do I add myself to the waitlist?
If you haven't planned ahead and secured an appointment a few months in advance, availability for appointments in the upcoming weeks may be limited. If your preferred days are fully booked, don't worry. Simply navigate to the desired days and scroll down until you find the option to add yourself to the waitlist at the bottom and fill out the required information. The app will notify you via text message or email if a day and time become available due to a rescheduled appointment. Remember to check back daily or weekly.
Please be aware that there may be multiple people on the waitlist, and appointments are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Being on the waitlist does not guarantee an appointment. If you're eager to secure a spot, it's best to book one directly.
If you click on a link and find that the appointment slot is already booked, it means that someone else has already reserved it. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
What if I need to cancel my appointment?

Traveling Out of State
What if I'm traveling out of state for surgery ?
If you're traveling out of town for your surgery, like to Miami, it's vital to schedule daily massages during your stay.
Once you're back in Dallas, ensure you book massages with us for the day following your return flight. The stresses of air travel can leave your body feeling sore and tense. To ease discomfort, consider scheduling a massage upon your return. If advance booking isn't possible, continue using compression techniques and stay hydrated by drinking plenty of fluids such as water and 100% pineapple juice. You may also find relief by trying our inflammation tea, specifically designed to reduce swelling. Remember, staying hydrated is key to promoting a smooth recovery.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage
What is manual lymphatic drainage massage (MLD) ?
Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) is a specialized massage technique aimed at facilitating the natural drainage of lymph, which transports waste products from tissues back to the heart. The lymphatic system relies on the rhythmic contractions of smooth muscle cells within lymph vessels, along with the movement of skeletal muscles, to propel lymph through the vessels, lymph nodes, and ducts, ultimately returning it to the cardiovascular system. MLD employs precise pressure and rhythmic circular motions to stimulate lymphatic flow.
What are the benefits of manual lymphatic drainage massage (MLD) ?
Alleviates Edema:
-
Lymphatic drainage massage effectively addresses edema and lymphedema, conditions characterized by abnormal fluid accumulation in tissues or the lymphatic system. While it can alleviate edema, severe cases warrant caution, especially if edema stems from underlying health issues like cirrhosis, kidney disease, or heart failure. Consulting a doctor before undergoing lymphatic drainage massage is advisable in such cases.
Pre and Post-Surgery Support:
-
Before and after surgery, lymphatic drainage massage offers valuable support, particularly for cosmetic procedures. By enhancing blood flow, eliminating stagnant tissue fluid, and alleviating pre-surgery stress and anxiety, it aids in promoting a smoother surgical experience. Post-surgery, it accelerates healing, reduces scar tissue, and minimizes inflammation. However, it's essential to wait at least six weeks post-surgery or obtain clearance from a medical professional before undergoing lymphatic massage to mitigate risks like blood clots and infection.
Boosts Immune Function:
-
Given the direct connection between the lymphatic and immune systems, lymphatic drainage massage plays a pivotal role in enhancing immunity. By stimulating circulation of white blood cells, improving immune function, and increasing antibody production, it fortifies the body's defense mechanisms. Regular lymphatic drainage massages are recommended, particularly for individuals prone to illness, with a general recommendation of daily massages for a week or weekly sessions over a three-month period.
Stress and Tension Relief:
-
Lymphatic drainage massage offers effective relief from stress and tension by modulating the nervous system. While stress triggers the sympathetic nervous system, leading to muscle tension and increased heart and respiratory rates, lymphatic massage activates the parasympathetic nervous system, inducing muscle relaxation and slowing down heart and respiratory rates.
Enhances Skin Vitality:
-
Improving skin health is another notable benefit of lymphatic drainage massage, particularly for conditions like eczema, rosacea, and acne. By stimulating blood circulation, delivering nutrients to the skin, and eliminating toxins and wastes from skin cells, it promotes healthier, clearer skin. However, it's advisable to avoid lymphatic drainage massage during acute stages of skin conditions or when the skin is inflamed or infected to prevent further complications.
Supports Breastfeeding:
-
During pregnancy and postpartum, lymphatic drainage massage offers comfort and support, particularly for breastfeeding mothers. It helps alleviate discomfort in the legs and feet during pregnancy and facilitates breastfeeding by reducing swelling, improving blocked ducts, and relieving soreness in the nipples and breasts. This contributes to a more comfortable and successful breastfeeding experience.
Will needle be used during my massage to assist in draining fluid?
We apply the Vodder technique, which does not involve the use of needles for draining fluid
What is the Vodder Technique ?
The Vodder Technique, also known as Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), is a specialized form of massage therapy designed to stimulate the natural drainage of lymph fluid from the body's tissues. Developed by Dr. Emil Vodder and his wife, Estrid Vodder, in the 1930s, this technique involves gentle, rhythmic hand movements applied to specific areas of the body to encourage the movement of lymphatic fluid towards the lymph nodes. The Vodder Technique aims to reduce swelling, improve circulation, and enhance the function of the lymphatic system, which plays a crucial role in the body's immune response and waste removal. It is commonly used to address conditions such as lymphedema, post-surgical swelling, detoxification, and overall wellness. This gentle and non-invasive therapy can promote relaxation and alleviate discomfort while supporting the body's natural healing processes.
How many massages do I need after surgery?
Great Question! Always consult with your doctor for their recommendation. Additionally, consider the amount of time you're willing to invest in your recovery journey. The number of massages required varies for each individual and depends on the type of surgery performed.
Here is a general guideline:
-
360 Liposuction: 15 to 20 sessions
-
Brazilian Butt Lift: 12 to 20 sessions
-
Mommy Makeover: 20 to 25 sessions
-
Tummy Tuck: 20 to 30 sessions
-
360 Liposuction and Brazilian Butt Lift: 10 to 20 sessions
-
Arm Liposuction: 12 sessions (30-40 minutes each)
-
Chin Liposuction: 12 sessions (30-40 minutes each)
-
Inner Thigh Liposuction: 12 sessions (30-40 minutes each)
What If you haven't undergone surgery, can I still receive Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) massage from you ?
Absolutely! Anyone is more than welcome to receive lymphatic massage, regardless of whether they've had cosmetic surgery. It can be especially helpful in aiding circulation, reducing inflammation, and promoting detoxification.
What if I did not have surgery, how many massages do I need ?
Each person's body responds differently to treatment. While I cannot predict precisely how long it will take for your body to heal, sometimes I can assess fluid movement during the initial appointment. However, the body's response can vary, and if I don't observe improvement, it may indicate a backlog in the lymphatic system. In such cases, I recommend increasing your intake of water, 100% pineapple juice, and our inflammation tea. You can find the tea in our SHOP section online or purchase it directly from our location.
Cavitation
What is cavitation ?
Cavitation is a process characterized by rapid changes in pressure within a liquid, resulting in the creation of small vapor-filled cavities in regions of relatively low pressure. When exposed to higher pressure, these cavities, known as "bubbles" or "voids," collapse and produce a powerful shock wave. This shock wave is particularly intense in proximity to the bubble but diminishes rapidly as it moves away.
